Machine Department

Inspections for quality control are made between each step of machining operations.
Typical equipment used to perform these operations:
  • Layout tables
  • Brinell hardness
  • Ultrasonic and dye penetrant, etc.
  • Micrometers, dial indicators, scales, verniers and other necessary measuring equipment
  • Profilometer (for surface quality of finish)

Shop Testing

Before product is shipped out, cranes are assembled as completely as possible and all motions are operated without load. Purchasers are invited to be present for the shop test and inspection.

Structural Department

Quality inspections are made using the following:

  • Magnaglow
  • Ultrasonic test
  • Dye penetrant
  • Necessary measuring equipment
  • Temperature gauges
  • Optical level
  • Brinell hardness
Fitting and welding inspected according to the drawing specification, applicable AWS requirements and in accordance with our shop procedures.
