Morgan Engineering Recognized for Safety Record

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) recognized Morgan Engineering for its safety record. Morgan received an Achievement Award, signifying a 25-percent or more reduction in incident rates from the previous year.
BWC’s Division of Safety & Hygiene hands out the awards in conjunction with 82 safety councils across the state, organized through chambers of commerce, trade and manufacturing associations, American Red Cross chapters or other local safety-minded organizations. Each Ohio safety council has the same goal – to increase safety awareness.
These safety councils provide their local communities with quality programs addressing occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation and risk management education and information. They inform participants about new techniques, products and services, and provide a thorough knowledge of these services.
The safety councils present safety awards throughout Ohio to promote greater interest in the prevention of occupational accidents and disease. Members with the highest safety records are honored at annual awards events. The safety council campaign is open to all companies, corporations, groups and employers in Ohio.
The Eastern Stark County Safety Council is sponsored by the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce and currently has over 60 members. The Council is open to all companies and individual employers interested in promoting and learning about workplace safety. The Safety Council meets on a monthly basis
